Otto Salonen
Your carpenter from Pori
Handsome Finnish furniture that time and life do not batter.
Behind Puutyö Salonen is me, Otto Salonen, a carpenter. In my workshop in Pori, I make all kinds of custom-made furniture! Dining tables, chairs, bookshelves, benches, whatever anyone desires for their home or workplace.
I use domestic softwood and hardwood in manufacturing. A piece of furniture made from these is a companion with character! It also lasts, even as time passes and life happens. Strong wooden furniture proudly passes down from generation to generation.
And most importantly, a piece of furniture made to measure is not too small, too large, or displeasing to your eye – it's just right.
Up to one's ears in sawdust
Carpentry is more than just a profession to me. It's my life's mission, my calling, which took root in me as a child. I turned this into my dream job when I founded my company in 2010.
They say some people do things "for the love of the game." That's how I make furniture. Then it's easy for the customer to fall in love with it too.
I also have a presence on social media
You can also find me on Instagram and Facebook sharing woodworking tips and showcasing the furniture and work مراحل being created in my workshop. I've also had the pleasure of a few partnerships. If you have an idea for collaboration, please get in touch, and let's chat more!

Otto's own collection
I also have that. You can explore the furniture I have designed and manufactured in more detail in the online store. Purchasing can also be done there, and of course, you can contact me directly to ask for more information about the products in the collection.
Completely unique pieces, made to every millimeter, are then custom-made, so feel free to tell me what kind of furniture you desire. Let's see what wonderful things we can create!
